Oct. 2nd, 2006 10:16 pm*bounces and swishes his tail happily* I passed the final exam at the driving school! So now all i got left to do is pass the one from the SAAQ (DMV-equivalent) and i can drive on the road alone!
I'm happy. With how little practice i had, i was sure i wouldn't pass. But i got a nice teacher, and she said i had almost everything fine, except for the obvious lack of practice. Which is good, i think.
So now, i need to get some more practice somehow... *merfs*
Also, i found out that going hyper in a "must get the best shot" kind of way is fun, but can result in lots of pain later. My shoulders and stomach are killing me from all the climbing i did near the collapse. The reason is mostly this wall.
People who climbed on it normally stood on the guardrail, then lifted eachother up to get there. I didn't exactly have someone with me. So getting up there to take the pics involved getting a running start, bouncing on the guard rail, then jumping high enought to hang onto the top edge by the fingertips, then pulling myself up to lie down on my belly, so i could free my hands to take pics on the other side. I couldn't really sit, since almost all the thick sections of the wall were already used by someone. And no, the plants couldn't be used to climb.
And for the certain people who wanted to evaluate the blob-ness of a certain rather fat cat, now you can.
Pictures that represent a windy day aren't so easy to take and have not look very normal-ish.
I also discovered that getting half a chicken delivered tends to make cats come out of nowhere. And they really want it.
Oh, and just because. Chez Gérard. My favorite generic fastfood place. One of the few where everything is still made there. They just buy packs of ground beef, some vegetables, the fries come in still unpeeled potato form...
... and that's all i can think of posting right now.
