Aug. 5th, 2006 09:56 pmI'm currently rather seriously pondering purchasing this.
Propane-powered step van, 14ft box, for sale at 1500$ CND. The guy would apparently be willing to sell it for less, as it has been on sale for a while with no interest from people.
Even if just for the propane-powered part, it's rather interesting. And i think it could work well with that idea of turning it into a RV, or at least making the back of it a living space. And it would also be nice to have possibly as a mobile work area too.
And i think i could easily cover the costs by getting paid cheap to help family and friends move heavy things.
I talked about it with my mother, and apparently she would accept to finance me, and i measured things earlier and i should be able to turn the space on the front lawn where the SkyHawk used to be into a legal parking space for not so much.
Which would mean it could be parked in front of my bedroom, with connections and all going to it. Which would be very nice.
Anway, i'm hoping to go check it tomorrow. I wish i had someone who could come, so we could test drive it and all. Having no driving experience myself, it's hard to say if it's driving well or not...
