Whee... So i finally did get a look at the van. And took pictures, which are here.

I'm still trying to get the price down, so far the guy agreed to go down to 1400... More than what he said on the phone, but blah.

I didn't get to quite drive the van yet, but i saw it at least move back and foward in the space it had. Someone else's car was parked behind it, so it couldn't be driven out.

As far as i've seen, the engine runs rather smooth. Didn't have any trouble starting once we figured a small propane tank problem... The truck has two tanks, and the switch went to tank B without problem, but it wouldn't go all the way to tank A, which is the one that still had propane in it...

But it just had to be cleaned a bit.

I took a good number of picture. There's lots of normal-looking rust on it, but it's a 11-year van, so nothing unexpected.

The body is all aluminium, so no rust there. Just some light dammage due to salt being brought in during the winter. Nothing too bad.

The part that annoys me a bit is that it was registered as a commercial vehicle, and didn't actually go for it's 2005 test. So i'm not sure how that affected registration exactly. The guy says it's still valid, just not for commercial without testing it again, for private use it's good.

Also, i got the report and stuff from carfax. No accident, no anything.

According to them, it's a...

1995 FORD E350
1FCJE3996SHA56957
INCOMPLETE CHASIS
4.9L L6 / REAR WHEEL DRIVE

So now i need to figure out how to actually buy that thing, if i finally decide to. And i really want to find someone with some experience with trucks to check it, it looks not too bad to me, but i don't exactly know much.

There's still a test drive left to do, and possibly have a mechanic look at it, if i can afford to...
