One thing that often annoys me when talking with dragons/otherkin.

Almost everyone seems to act as if souls were a proven, well defined thing. As far as i know, they are not...

I try to explain to people how i am a dragon, and i get told that this is impossible because souls work x ways and blah.

Arguments like "You can't say you're not in the right body. Souls are specie-neutral, you just probably had your last life as a dragon. You're human now." are very annoying. I never claimed to have a past life, soul, or anything like that. But apparently what i'm saying is just silly, because everyone knows about souls and that past lives are well real.

It's very annoying. Souls are still kinda undefined for me. And i usually don't have any place where something like a soul would fit into my "models" for how everything works.

And yeah, i had it explained to me quite a few times. It just turned out very pointless each time. Especially when it's very vague like "It's like your essence, what makes you you."...
