Grawr... I'm tired of getting "but Adium on the mac is like that" as a reply each time i complain about the lack of service icons on pidgin/gaim.

It's not because the mac version of Gaim/Pidgin doesn't quite have those that it should be like that everywhere. And they bring up that Adium users don't complain. What i've heard from Adium users is that they have it as an option if they want. Not that the feature is just not there.

And interestingly, most screenshots i see when doing a search for Adium do have services icons turned on.
