Whee...

Ok, so an update for the rest of the week.

Due to the lack of regular work to do, i ended up with the job of replacing dammaged section of pallet racks and stuff. Which means taking apart the whole 20ft tall thing, removing all the steel beams and legs, then installing new stuff. So lots of fun for me, since that meant lots of climbing and using strength to remove the old broken parts, and lots of forklifting.

Went rather well too, since i get along rather well with the guy i did that stuff with. Still going to have a few sections left to do next week.

And i'm getting really used to driving the forklifts. Which is good and bad... I'm starting to go a bit faster than i probably should when driving around. I can handle the speed, yeah, but the lift sometime isn't as stable as i wish it was. Guess i just need a bit more experience.

Also had some fun driving the newer forklifts. Not as fast as the ones i learned to use first, but they're insanely progressive. As in, i can move milimeter by milimeter. But they have a bad response time on the sideshift and extension, need to hold the button down for almost a second before it even tries to move.

I also finally managed to get an appointement for my final practical driving exam. On the 8th... I have no idea how it'll go. I need to practice a bit more driving during the day. And to drive a car again for a bit instead of just the van.

*grins* And if i do pass the exam, that means over an extra hour of free time per day, which makes me very happy.

Other than that... Managed to finish coding quite a few things i had been kinda stalled on, which is nice.

And i've also been tagged by azusis for that "6 Things" thing, so... *thinks* ... meh, no idea for interesting stuff that isn't known by everyone. I'll find something later.
