Right now, what i'm seeing as the best option would be Montreal to San Jose via United, would leave at about 8am local time on the 18, to get to San Jose a bit past noon, California time. 6h of flight, 2h from Montréal to Chicago, 4h from Chicago to San Jose.
And the way back would mean leaving San Jose at 8am on the 23, to get to Chicago at 2pm, then from Chicago to Montréal, landing at 4pm.
Which makes me tempted to instead just stop in Chicago on the 23, then leave Chicago for Montréal on the 24, leaving at 10am or so and get to Montréal a bit past 1pm.
Also trying to see if i could bounce by Vancouver and use Westjet for the last part of the trip, but really not sure... Timezones suck.
