*catches on fire and implodes*
Got woken up at about noon by my friend at PC concept. He got my Zalman 9500, and called to say i could pick it up. Normally, i would have wanted to kill him for waking me up, but turns out i was having a stupid nightmare. And also, i was woken up for a huge copper fan with heatpipes and awesomness. So it was justified.
And i got that installed. It works nice, was easy to install, and turns out i can have it point upward. Which is awesome, i think. Especially since this means i don't need an ultra flat and thin and stuff heatsink for the northbridge, as the cooler is not in the way when vertical.
And the system still boots fine at 4Ghz, but the chipset get insanely hot. So i need a nice cooler for it. Hopefully a copper-y one. Which seems impossible to find, for some reason.
So now, nothing more i can do until i get a new heatsink for the northbridge. This is slowly getting rather expensive. But well, i had to try it.
Other than that, not too much. Getting somewhat stressed about work. The electricity departement is just insane, i see now why the guy who worked there never stopped during the breaks. I didn't even have time to put all the new stuff on the shelves, even less fill the holes and do the facing and all. I didn't even have time to finish unpacking the pallets.
The boss and other seems to understand that i can't really do it, at least. So it's not like at Telesonic, i'm not getting yelled at for not doing the impossible.
Anyway. Another attempt at sleep is required.
