Whee... Odd but kinda really fun dreams.

Lots of random stuff, leading to a party by the family being held in the backard. Rather boring until that point. They were doing some kind of huge picnic with tons of foodstuff and all.

At some point, everyone was kinda starting to panick and pack up things really fast. I was mostly confused, then someone pointed to something in front of the house.

I went to see, and there were a bunch of green-brown... bugs, a bit like some kind of caterpillar or worm. Between one and two inch long each, and with regular pointy-ish bumps along their body. They were moving all in line toward the backyard, eating all the grass and pretty much every plant and edible thing along the way. Everyone was trying to kick them away and send them back, but they were somehow clinging to the ground real hard and almost impossible to move or stop. Luckily, they couldn't climb things and just moved along the ground.

At some point, i came up with the idea of using something from a stupid dream i had when i was about 8 years old. Back then, my parents served "pois mange-tout" for the first time. I don't know how they're called in english, but they're peas where you eat everything, including the plant-thing they grow in. And the name translates to "peas eat-everything". So back them, i dreamed that if you put them together with other food, the peas would eat everything.

So for some reasons, those stupid peas from that dream were still in a sealed ziplock bag at the back of the fridge. So i ran inside, took them out, and placed them in the way of the caterpillar-type bugs. Everyone was still going insane and trying to seal all the doors and stuff, but i just sat there and watched the bugs fight against the peas. At first, the peas were eating them, but after a while, the bugs finally took over and ate the peas. I couldn't help but laugh as i watched that, as it was rather ridiculous. But everyone around seemed horrified to see that. In a really overreacting way.

After that was done, i decided to find out where those bugs were coming from, so i started following back the line, which led to a nearby park. The closer i got to the park, the fatter the bugs were. I continued to follow, until i found a bunch of people with shovels and stuff trying to squish those bugs and kill them in any way they could. Which mysteriously didn't work at all. They were just getting flattened, then would slowly regain their normal shape.

I tried to find a way to steer them back toward where they came from, or lead them in circles, or make them fall in the water, and various other things, until at some point everyone started screaming "it's coming" and smiliar things, then running away. For some reason, i didn't really react until some large creature landed on top of me.

I'm not quite sure what to say this creature was. It was rather large, maybe around 15ft tall, had an oddly wide and round-ish body, was bipeda-ish, and had really long and heavy arms, almost reaching the ground when standing upright... It had a brown-ish white fur with dark brown spots, looking kinda dirty without actually being dirty. It had long, wide and very flat tail. It's head was rather odd. It had a round and long muzzle, and it's mouth would open by splitting in three sections, with a membrane keeping them attached to eachother on the sides. It had completely black eyes and no nostrils.

... a bit hard to describe, but yeah.

Anyway, that thing was, from what everyone was shouting, the cause of all those bugs. That creature landed on me, knocking me down on my back, then seemed to rip it's chest open, what looked like ribs under it's skin turning out to be dozens of bug-like legs. It looked a bit like what the underside of a pillbug does. Everyone was just running scared from it, and i was just sitting there calmly and looking at it, thinking "Wow, that's kinda cool.".

The creature was just screaming, growling and making various other angry noises at people, while i just sat there, looking at it curiously. Once people were far enough, it spread out the bug-legs it had, which all ended with a long tentacle-like section. Everyone was horrified, going about how it was going to eat me, but i was just laughing at it. It quickly wrapped all those tentacles around me and pulled me closer, growling and making some almost painfull high pitched screams, then started chewing on my head. But it turns out, that it was completely harmless. It was trying very hard to chew, but it didn't have any teeth, and was almost pathetically weak. Still, people were still scared and going "Aaah! Somebody do something! It's killing Pyx!", which i kept replying things like "No, it's not." and similar.

After a while, i managed to slide an arm from those tentacle-legs that were still wrapped around me, and tried giving it some scritches. It tried to bite harder instantly, but after a few seconds started to purr and finally let go of my head. I couldn't help but laugh at this point. People were still panicked, but the creature was obviously not a threat...

Next thing i did was try to talk to it. Surprisingly, it understood what i sad, i could understand it's reply, but it didn't speak. Either telepathy, dream weirness, or simply not bothering with it, can't say which. But it turns out that creature didn't know how it got on earth, and it couldn't eat food on it's own, so it was laying eggs which turned into those bugs that were eating stuff. Apparently, at some point it would recall them all and eat by encircling them with it's tail then scooping them up in his maw with the membrane-thing between it's jaws. It did that because it was unable to digest plants, and lacked teeth and claws to hunt.

So i suggested pasta to it. Not excessively hard to digest, doesn't need to be hunted, and if it could eat those bug whole, macaronis wouldn't be harder. It agreed to try, but was afraid i was going to trick it, so wouldn't let me go to go get some. I told the creature that i had some at home, and it decided to carry me there. Which was rather interesting. To do this, it wrapped the tentacle-legs around me, pulled me against it's chest, and closed it's skin back over me, leaving only my head out next to it's own. It felt just like being wrapped in warm blankets, which was kinda nice.

At home, people obviously panicked, but the creature quickly recalled and ate the worm-bugs around the house, which made people calm down. Then we somehow managed to squeeze inside the house and i started reheating some macaronis. The creature absolutely loved them and was really hyper at the idea of not having to lay bug eggs then eat the bugs once fattened up.

After that, we talked a bit, it showed off what it could do a bit. The creature apparently was just trying to be scary earlier because it thought it was the only way to keep people from eating or killing it's bug-food creatures. It apparently was kinda scared too... And it showed that the skin could open up all along it's underside, and the tentacle-legs would hold it spread out on the sides, letting it kinda float down with it like a parachute instead of falling. It was also able to flatten itself and twist in all kinds of way to crawl into tight spaces, which it showed by crawling into every corner of my room, behind desks and stuff, it's head being the only thing that didn't fit everywhere. It kept making jokes about being just that monster that hides under kid's bed.

And the dream kinda drifted off to some stuff about being late for work due to that creature being at home and blah. Which i don't remember much.

Worktime now. Blah, but last day. Weeekend tomorrow!
