Jun. 20th, 2006 04:19 pmAnd whee... I'm back home.
As stupid as it might seem, i'm REALLY happy to finally be alone. Not that i don't like being around people, but after a while...
The sucky part is that i have to work later today. And since i'm awake right now, this means my sleep schedule is once again messed up. But blah to that.
Also, it's funny how the timing of some things go. I was talking at AC with an old member of the AFD newsgroup, and how usenet seems to be disappearing. Yesterday, when i got home, i noticed that Bell Sympatico just shut down their news servers. So no more newsgroups for me, it would seem. Not that posting ever really worked on their servers.
I always find it funny to see how different some persons are when around other people compared to when they are around just me. That can get rather annoying sometimes.
And, i guess that was unavoidable, but blah... Why do furs seem unable to stay at a PG-13 level for more than just a few minutes offline?
I spent too much time ignoring what people were saying.
Anyway. Overall, Anthrocon was fun, even if it wasn't quite as i expected. The next post will contain scans of art i got. And seeing Chris and Steve was nice, just sucks that they had to leave so soon. And the dual head showers were awesome. And i got free tea. Lots of it. *grins*
I'm just hoping that next year more friends that i know well will go there. Or that there will be more planned events/panel/things. They should do tracks like FC had. And i hope it's not going to be as spread out. I want to be able to "camp" and get pics of fursuits that way.
Now that this is written, sleep. Desesperately needing more of it.
