May. 28th, 2006 04:54 amWhee... Another update from work.
It's an... interesting day. The place is rather empty. Not many people working today, no boss, and no new stock today. So just filling shelves.
I took advantage of this to take a few pictures, one of the area where i work the most and the cocoon like wrapping. Not much, and crappy due to the cellphone, but meh...
I also took advantage of that to wander around and explore more the space between the structures. Found more fun spaces to crawl in, and found more mices. And a few bird nests. I really think i could hide there in the morning and not be found all day...
If i can find a power outlet in there, i could just hide in there during the winter instead of going home, saving the ride and stuff.
I also found that our local wildlife had some fun with all the bird food and stuff. I wonder why we don't have any squirrels in the store yet...
I also found quite a few nice examples of product shrinkage by crawling back there. There's a good amount of stuff that fell there months ago, and since nobody normally goes there, it stays. I found quite a few things, like sponges, where the same product, at the same price and with the same UPC, model number and everything, where the older version was about 25% bigger/heavier.
It's also kinda funny to see how many people who work here just try to squeeze as much stuff on the shelves as they can to avoid putting it in the middle of the column. They don't realise that the reason why they can keep sqeezing stuff in is because it falls in the space between the back of the shelves and the ones on the other side... So in some place, there were a huge pile of cleaning product bottles.
And i should end this now, break is going to end soon, and the laptop takes forever to just shut down.
... and just one day left, then i get two days off! Wheee!
