And another day done. Just one left before my first day off!

Started with lots of sleep. I ended up not being able to stay awake at 4pm, so i didn't actually get out of bed until about 5h30pm. Which annoyed me, since i was hoping to go to a furmeet with Monfur.

Then i noticed that the bus schedules are very stupid on the weekend. The only bus that would get me to my job in time leaves before 10pm. And no other option. So i ended up wasting about 1h at the job, waiting for the time when i start.

And this kinda left me with only about 3h of free time, less what it took me to get make my lunch and get work-related stuff ready.

Blah... I'm really starting to want a car now, so i can get to places when i want, and within time constrains.

Anyway, weekend starts tomorrow.

Some more work-related stuff and more...

First, something funny about this morning. When i came to pick up my bike at the bus stop where i had left it, i found it covered in flowers. Turns out some guy was selling them on the corner of the street, and guessed that my bike had been abandonned there for quite a while, so he used it as display. It wasn't a problem, but was just funny to see. I wish i could have taken a picture.

Also, some very odd dreams involving someone stealing a few dozen of those big rolls of wrapping plastic they use in shipping to wrap around the stuff on pallets, then going around the city wrapping things and causing trouble that way. I had to unwrap all kinds of things, from cars to houses to a huge and rather pissed-off looking snake. Which then tried to constrict me after i freed it, but turned out to be rather comfy and not crushing at all. I think it liked me...

I found out that working in the pesticide/insecticide/trap section makes me want to sabotage the stuff... So many product designed to pointlessly kill other creatures. I mean, i can understand for some rather invasive and dammaging ones, but there's no reason to have spider poison. Or to have so many traps that will kill mouses and any other creature in a rather painfull way. Sticky stuff that wraps around them when touched... Bleh. They have perfectly good catch and release traps. And there are cats if you really want them away or dead... And butterfly poison. The hell?

Working without a boss there is a bit odd. I'm not always entirely sure if i'm doing things right, or doing the right things first, so it's a bit annoying. But on the other side, everyone is much more relaxed and just want to get things done without having to worry about getting caught not respecting a security rule for a fraction of a second. I've been allowed to drive one of the pickers, and move a forklift a bit. That's not much, i know, but still, to me it was fun.

Other than that, not too much. Can't wait for my days off. I'll go take care of doing some driving, then scheduling my last 6 hours of driving lessons.

I think i'll go to work on bike today, so i don't have to wait to return home.
