And i got a new laptop! Thinkpad R51, 1.5Ghz Pentium M, 1Gb ram, 40gb HDD, Radeon 9000 32mb, CD-RW/DVD combo. Paid 1100$ for it, and it's in a very close to new condition.

I'm happy of that.

I originally wanted to buy a cheaper one, like a T30 that some guy wanted to sell. It was a good deal, for 560$, but the guy was a bit odd in his e-mails, and almost got mad at me for being "a business" when i told him that he could come to Telesonic during the day to give it to me.

He ended up never coming, which kinda annoyed me. But the next day i decided not to bother and just get something a bit better that would last longer. So i got that R51.

This one was very simple. One phone call, then went there, got the laptop, came back. All in a few hours.

And i'm surprised, the laptop works better than i expected. UT2004 is playable at 1024x768, Guild wars runs just fine, and the laptop can run for 3h on battery.

Other than that, not too much. Work was bleh, as usual. I didn't get my paycheck this week, which annoys me.

And the theorical driving exam is getting closer and closer, which is starting to make me a bit nervous. But i think i'm kinda ready... Not sure... I guess i'll re-read the book a few times again.

Also, i'm planning to go to La Ronde tomorrow. Anyone interested?
