Gyaah! In 6 hours, i'm supposed to be gone for Kingston, Ontario.

... does anyone know someone who lives there, that would be availible as emergency backup plan?

And packing is hard when you're one of the hoarding type... I'm trying to fit my whole room into my backpack. And do i really need 6 FRS radio? I know in story the radio always dies, so i thought...

And i'm going there by train. First time on a train for me. First time in Ontario too. First time traveling alone too.

I'm going there to meet navyraptor . First time i'm going to meet a dragon from the USA in person.

*runs around packing stuff*

And i am now in Kingston, Ontario, at the Howard Johnson hotel.

Wheee!

I had to fight to get a room, but this turns out to be better than expected.

I was supposed to go to the Four Point Sheraton, which had single rooms for 129$, with net access.

But i needed a credit card, no safety deposit for them...

So i went to the Radisson. 199$ for a room, 50$ safety deposit. Which is too expensive, and pretty much the amount of money i have left.

Then i went to a few others on the way, crappy net access or no rooms cheap enough.

And finally, i found this one. 109$ for a night, high speed internet, and 20$ safety deposit.

Which is perfect.

... i fell asleep there while writing this post...

Now that i got back up, i just called Maenir, and i'm getting ready to go eat, then come back to pickup my hardware and go film his performance.

The bed is nice... *grins*
